Hello

8:30 AM

It's me!..I was wondering if after all these years you'd like to meet..Lol I kid, I kid!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and is recharged for this new week.
I certainly am! Because we love to complain so much about Mondays, we often forget that it is a day on which we get a fresh start, and the power to drive our week in any direction we want.

Sunday's weather was the perfect opportunity to ditch the jacket and uncover up. I still carried my coat with me because, well I live in New England. But the nice weather gave me a chance to wear some items from my latest Zara haul. Twice a year, as the seasonal sale comes to an end at Zara, I go there and rack up on everything that catch my eyes and heart at a killer price! Shopping on a budget seems difficult for some but it is very doable and fulfilling. This outfit (top, skirt and shoes) cost me less than 40 bucks! I hate nothing more than paying full price for an item and seeing it listed for 50% off a month later. It haunts me forever!

Here are some of my tips for getting the best deals on clothes:
1- Research- When you have time, look through your favorite sites and save items that you like. Visit other sites and look for similar items to compare prices.
2- Don't be afraid to shop without a plan/event in mind- Nothing is more stressful than looking for an outfit for a specific occasion as the date approaches. If you find something you like at a good price, it's okay to buy it even if you don't have an event in mind. You'll be thankful when one does come up later and you can shop in your own closet.
3- Check the sale category first- Whenever I shop online, the sale category is what I check out first, and most times, I always find what I need. Same goes for shopping in stores, check the clearance racks before roaming the full price sections.
4- Look for coupons and sign up for deals. Retailmenot.com is great for finding deals, and although some sites overdo it with the emails, it is sometimes worth it to sign up for deals.
5- Wait for the sale- As tempting as the new Spring/Summer collection might be, it is okay to wait for the sale at the end of the season. Yes, sometimes, some items go out of stock, and you want to cry. But most of the time, it is worth the wait.
6- Sell or donate clothing items that you no longer use- I have yet to get in the habit of doing this, but it is a great way to ensure that you're not filling up your closet and buying items you already have. depop.com is a good site for selling items.
